Mr. Anderson began his teaching career in the Maryville R-II School District after finishing his undergraduate degree from Northwest Missouri State University in 2001. Next, he spent sixteen years teaching physical education at Bode Middle School. During this time, he completed his masters degree at Northwest Missouri State University and specialist degrees at Arkansas State University, both in the areas of Secondary School Administration. In 2018, Mark was hired as the 7th - 12th grade principal and athletic director for the South Holt R-1 School District in Oregon, Missouri. Outside of the classroom, Mark has coached a variety of sports for the Saint Joseph School District as well as various youth programs in the city. He and his wife Kara, have three children Delanie (15), Tyce (13), and Kennedy (11).
