SGMS School Spelling Bee

Date: January 13, 2022

Location: SGMS Library

Grade Level: 6-8

Time: 6^th Grade- 3^rd hour (9:55-10:40)

7^th Grade- 2^nd hour (9:00-9:45)

8^th Grade- 6^th hour (1:00-1:50)

The Bee will take place at SGMS on 1/13/22 during 2^nd hour (7^th grade), 3^rd hour (6^th grade), and 6^th hour (8^th grade). If there is not enough time to complete these contests on 1/13/22 then they will continue the next day at SGMS but may be at different times.

Parents are allowed to attend the SGMS Spelling Bee this year. If you want to compete in the SGMS Spelling Bee, then you must let your ELA teacher know by January 10. After that date, you will not be allowed to sign up for the school bee.

Buchanan County Spelling Bee

If you place in the top four you must commit to attend the Buchannan County Spelling Bee on February 5 at Truman Middle School. This contest begins at 1:00 pm, with registration at 12:30 pm.
